Music Festivals

Have any of you guy been to a concert or a music festival? If you are like me I been to a couple concerts and dreamed of going to many music festivals. I think the first ever music festival that I dreamed of going to was Tomorrowland. Some of you might wonder what Tomorrowland is. Well in this blog I will explain what Tomorrowland is and other similar places like Tomorrowland that you can find near you and other not so near, but are fun to talk about if you are into music.

Tomorrowland
First we will start off with Tomorrowland one of my favorite ones, when I see videos of  it, I still would want to go, but I don’t have as much interest as I did when I was 15 years old. Continuing on with this festival according to “At Tomorrowland Music Festival, Luxury can be the Main Event” by CNBC explains, Tomorrowland is an electronic music festival which is held in Belgium. This festival  started in 2005 and tried to expand into other countries, but the result were not the same, for this reason it is only held in Belgium. The festival can fit up to 400,000 guest, plus 16 stages and one thousand artists. This festival offer hospitality and guest get to pick their own package by picking out a tent or sleep in a what they call “luxury room”.
Vive Latino
Now continuing on with Vive Latino which is held in another country, Mexico. Vive Latino according to Ocesa is one of the biggest festivals in Mexico. This festival brings around 60 plus artist, which most of them are Mexican and central american bands.  The genre for this festival is more like a rock style festival. This festival is three days long during March 16th-18th. For this festival you have the option to buy a ticket for a single day or for all three days. This festival does not offer a place to stay like Tomorrowland does. This is also one my dream festivals I would want to go to.

Outside Land

Outside Land which is held in San Francisco, California in one of it’s biggest parks which is the Golden Gate Park and  started in 2008. According to Billboard, this event has around 200,000 guest every year. This festival is different and unique from many others. First of all  you would imagine this in the middle of nowhere like many other festivals, but no as I said it held in Golden Gate Park, where many people always visit this park. Since it is in a park it's like a music festival in a forest because of the many trees and plants there is. Another reason this festival is unique is because of  the weather, most of other festivals are during summer and it's hot, but in San Francisco the temperatures are mostly cold. Lastly, this event is unique because of their art they have around the festival.
So if you like music festivals this is one of the closest one there is.

Fyre Festival
Switching to the Bahamas a fancy festival called Fyre Festival which their first and last event was last year 2017, during April. According to Spin, the cost of the tickets started at $2,000 and end in $250,000. This festival offered  according to Spin “1 million dollars in luxury jewelry and cash.” In addition they offered different types of places they could stay in. Starting with tents to nice pricy rooms. Many celebrities were paid to promote the festival and many young people  did buy tickets for the festival. But, at the end the people who attend the festival found a disaster, everything was not set out yet, it was like a building during construction. Either way they stayed there for one day and throughout the day they offered them a cold sandwich with salad and people had to sleep in tents on the island.
I included this because I   think this is a funny story. What do you think? Would you ever buy a ticket from a  first time music festival?
